From 27 January to 2 February 2008, US SAILING's Rolex Miami OCR returns to the waters of Biscayne Bay, bringing together the world's top competitors in the Olympic and Paralympic Classes. The 19th annual US SAILING Rolex Miami OCR is a mainstay on the winter circuit for sailors who are campaigning for the next Olympic and Paralympic Games. The event is ranked by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) as a Grade 1 event and this year features competition in 4 Olympic classes and 3 Paralympic classes.

The competition will be raced in the following events selected for the next Olympic Games: Laser, Laser Radial, Star, and Yngling. Racing will also be held for all events selected for the next Paralympic Games: 2.4mR, SKUD 18, and Sonar.
